This vase is formed in satin-finished (frosted) molded glass, in a rich emerald green — a rarer colourway within the maker's known output, which more commonly appears in clear, blush, and smoky tones. The body is decorated with a stylised calla lily motif in high relief, radiating from the base in a fan-like arrangement — a hallmark of the geometric, botanical vocabulary of French Art Deco design. Attributed to Pierre d'Avesn (Pierre Gire, 1901–1984), who trained under René Lalique before establishing his own molded glass practice in 1926 with the Cristallerie de Saint-Rémy. The pattern, form, satin finish, and dimensions correspond closely to documented examples of his Calla Lily design. No maker's mark is present to base — pieces from this workshop were frequently left unsigned or marked only "France."
